Attempt to change Serbian history in the UNESCO

Serbia prevented, after the diplomatic war in the UNESCO Committee for the Protection of World Cultural Heritage an attempt to rename the monasteries of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC) in Kosovo and Metohija from the Serbian heritage as "Kosovo's heritage", Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Vuk Jeremic said today in Becici.
"The sanctities of the SOC are not and cannot be the cultural monuments of Kosovo" Jeremic stressed.
St. Vitus Day in the crypt of St. Prince Lazar

His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije opened last night in the St. Sava Memorial Cathedral on Vracar, in the crypt of St. Prince Lazar, the St. Vitus Day concert - prayerful and spiritual gathering of the Serbian church choirs: Women's choir of the Singing society Venerable Rafailo Banatski with the conducter Senka Milisavljevic, a choir Venerable Roman Slatkopojac with the conductor Tatjana Krga, the First Belgrade Singing Society with the conductor Svetlana Vilic and the Singing society Mokranjac at the St. Sava church with the conductor Jelena Jez. Verses were spoken by the actor Ivan Jevtovic.
Humanitarian concert organized by the Embassy of Indonesia

On behalf of His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, His Grace Vicar Bishop Atanasije of Hvosno attended on June 23, 2011 at the Ilija M. Kolarac Foundation the humanitarian concert of a folklore group from the Indonesian province of Aceh, suffered by the tsunami in 2004.

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch served today the memorial service at the Royal Palace Chapel of St Andrew the First Called on the occasion of 50 years since the death of Queen Maria. The memorial service was attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Alexander II, Princess Katherine and Prince Philip Karadjordjevic.

Radio Svetigora of the Orthodox Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral celebrated on Monday, June 13, on Whit Monday its Patron Saint's Day and thirteen years of existence. The slava cake of the Radio was cut by protopresbyter-staurophor Momcilo Krivokapic, hierarchal deputy of Boka Kotorska in the presence of the director of the Managing Board of the Radio protopresbyter-staurophor Gojko Perovic the rector of the Cetinje Seminary, priest Jovan Plamenac the editor-in-chief of our Radio, the director of Radio Svetigora priest Predrag Scepanovic, employees of the Radio and guests.
