Great Orthodox photo exhibition Heart of the North Fivaida in Rome

July 2012 - 11:19With the blessing of His Holiness Kirill of Moscow and All Russia at the Russian Centre for science and culture in Rome a photo exhibition entitled Cuore della Fivaída del Nord (Heart of the North Fivaida) by the author Archbishop Maximilian of Vólogda and Velikiy Ustjug has been opened.
Festival of Serbian Gusle Players of Montenegro

July 2012 - 10:41In Bijelo Polje from June 29-30, 2012 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the First Balkan War and the return of the Serbs to Kosovo and on the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Bijelo Polje and the church of Saint Apostle Peter and Paul (1912-2012) and in memory of Saint Lazar, the Great Martyr of Kosovo and with him knights suffered in the Kosovo Battle - Saint Vitus Day, VII Festival of Serbian Gusle Players of Montenegro was held.
A great success of the Serbian artists at the festival in Siberia

July 2012 - 9:19Artists from Serbia who participated at the International festival of folk art and craft UGRA2012 in Siberia, achieved great success representing the traditions and culture of our country. The Serbian delegation at this festival, which was founded seven years ago, was led by academician artist and icon painter Vladimir Cetkovic from Belgrade, and it was also consisted of Irena Gvozdenovic, higher custodian of the Ethnographic museum in Belgrade, and Slavica Ciric, director of the Pirot rug production Cooperative.
Exhibition of Christian manuscripts

July 2012 - 10:42The Bavarian State Library in the city of Bamberg, an exhibition entitled "Treasures of eternity" has been opened.This exhibition showcases to visitors valuable biblical and liturgical manuscripts from the first half of the 11th century who have been kept in the sacristy of the cathedral of Bamberg with a collection books from the church library.
Many of these showpieces which are displayed on this occasion form the basis of the library of Saint Henry (II), Holy Roman Emperor (973-1024) who founded the diocese in Bamberg in 1007.
Cultural treasure of the Serbs of Dubrovnik at the Archive of Serbia
2. July 2012 - 15:46The Serbian church municipality in Dubrovnik, Archive of Serbia and the National Library of Serbia mutually prepared an exhibition The Culture of Serbs in Dubrovnik 1790-2010, from the Treasury of the Serbian Orthodox church of Holy Annunciation, which was opened at the Archive of Serbia. The exhibition represents a crown of the multi-year effort of the team of experts to process an exceptional cultural heritage of the Serbs in Dubrovnik. The opening was attended by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, a few bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, representatives of the Roman Catholic church and islamic religious community, as well as many figures from political, academic, cultural and public life of the capital.
