Serbian Patriarch concluded his Patriarchal visitation to the USA

His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, returned from the USA where he had presided over the prayerful celebrations in the Diocese of New Gracanica-Midwestern America on the occasion of the glorification of new-shown Saint Mardarije of Libertyville and All-America on 24 July 2017.
On behalf of the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Serbian Orthodox Church, His Holiness was welcomed at the airport Nikola Tesla by His Grace Bishop Milutin of Valjevo, member of the Holy Synod. The Patriarch was also greeted by His Grace Arsenije, Vicar Bishop of Toplica and elected Bishop of Nis, with clergy at the main entrance to the Patriarchate Palace.

On Saturday, 22 July 2017, on the feast day of Saint Martyr Pancras, Saint Theodor and Holy Martyrs of Glamok and Kulenvakuf, the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy was celebrated at the church of Saint Spyridon the Wonderworker in Peroj. His Grace Bishop Gerasim of Gornji Karlovac officiated the Liturgical gathering with the concelebration of Archimandrite Naum, Archimandrite Danilo, presbyter Milan Eric, parish of Pecuj (Diocese of Budim); presbyter Jovan Galamic and deacon Budimir Kokotovic.

The Diocesan Summer Camp continues to operate at full capacity!! Large numbers of parents and counselors have volunteered to serve each week. We have had some notable new members of our Diocesan clergy who have attended this year’s camp. Rev. Fr. Stephen Tumbas also did great job!
