The Prince of Wales visited the Serbian Orthodox Church
17. March 2016 - 11:28His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales paid His first visit to the Serbian Patriarchate.
Belgrade, 16th March 2016. - Upon his arrival to the Patriarchate, there was a meeting between His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej and His Royal Highness Charles, The Prince of Wales. Thereafter, the Serbian Patriarch and The Prince of Wales together visited the Patriarchal Chapel of Saint Symeon the Myrrh-Gushing, which the Serbian Orthodox Church for almost a century has offered to the Anglican Community to serve Christmas services according to the Gregorian calendar. Consequently, the visit of Prince Charles to the Chapel has a special significance, since the chapel itself is a symbol of the historical friendship between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Church of England.

Serbian Patriarch visited the Greek College of Saint Andrew the First-Called
15. March 2016 - 10:58The delegation of the Serbian Orthodox Church led by His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, visited the Greek Orthodox Theological College “Saint Andrew the First-called” in Sidney on 11 March 2016.
In the church dedicated to the feast-day of the Annunciation, the high guest from Serbia was welcomed by pious Greek people. The host of the meeting was His Eminence Archbishop Dr. Stilianos of Australia and His Grace Bishop Seraphimos of Apollonia, who cordially welcomed brothers in Christ from Serbia.

Serbian Patriarch Irinej, accompanied by Metropolitan Amfilohije and Bishop Irinej of Australia and New Zealand, visited the Saint Athanasius Coptic Theological College (SACOTC) in Donvale on 8 March 2016. Serbian Patriarch Irinej held a lecture on the topic of the role of the Church in modern trends to attending representatives of the Ecumenical Patriarchate, the Roman Catholic Church, the Anglican Church, the native – Coptic Church, professors and lecturers at this College, which are in the same time eminent representatives of the University in Melbourne.
Bishop Maxim and Fr. Vasileios Thermos visit St. Herman Monastery and St. Xenia Skete
10. March 2016 - 15:45On Thursday, March 3, 2015, His Grace Bishop Maxim visited the St. Herman of Alaska Monastery in Platina, California, and St. Xenia Skete in nearby Wildwood, together with an honored guest, Protopresbyter Vasileios Thermos of Athens, Greece.
This is Fr. Vasileios’ second pilgrimage to the St. Herman Monastery, his first being two years ago, with his presbytera. Fr. Vasileios is a priest of the Church of Greece. Together with his priestly ministry in Athens, he is a practicing psychiatrist, and is Professor of Pastoral Theology and Psychology at the University Ecclesiastical Academy in Athens. The author of many books and articles, he has offered programs and retreats in Greece, the United States, Albania, and Cyprus.
