Bishop Siluan's Archpastoral visit to Queensland

Canonical visit to Queensland of His Grace Bishop Siluan of Australia and New Zealand began on April 16, 2021, with the Second Vigil in the church of St. Nicholas in Wacol, where a large number of believers gathered to offer prayers to the Most Holy Mother of God together with their archpastor.

The next day, April 17, 2021, Bishop Siluan served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Church Community of the Assumption of the Most Holy Mother of God on the Gold Coast. On that occasion, the Bishop consecrated the renovated Parish House and ordained Mr. Luka Draskovicto the rank of reader.

His Grace Bishop Irinej visited the Boston parish during the weekend of April 16-18, 2021.Arriving on Friday, April 16, 2021, His Grace Bishop Irinej led the faithful of the Boston parish in prayers to the Mother of God during the Akathist service accompanied by the beautiful voices of Protodeacon Milos Zdralic and host priest, the Very Reverend Aleksandar Vlajkovic. The solemn evening was mystically celebrated with responses from the SSF Desanka Maksimovic Choir. After the service, His Grace described the importance of the fourth week of Great Lent and the role of Mother of God, the Theotokos, who is called The Door through which the salvation came to humanity.

Bishop Joanikije:The content of the Fundamental Agreement will be known after signing

His Grace Bishop Joanikije of Budimlje-Niksic and the Administrator of the Metropolitanate of Montenegro and the Littoral announced that the content of the Fundamental Agreement between the Serbian Orthodox Church and the state of Montenegro will be known to the public when it is signed.

Bishop Joanikije explained in an interview with Vijesti TV Station that the same procedure was followed when concluding agreements with other churches and religious communities.

Bishop Irinej: Епископ Иринеј: The meaning of the holiday is to tell us now, in advance, the great and joyful Mystery of the Resurrection of Christ, both ours and the universal, and that when we celebrate His sufferings in the coming days, and when we ourselves experience sufferings in life and various sufferings, to understand them as our participation in the sufferings of Christ, as preparation for our participation in His Resurrection.

His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa served the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy in the Cathedral church of Saint George in Novi Sad, on the feast day of the Entrance of the Lord Jesus Christ in Jerusalem, 25 April 2021.

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch celebrated the Holy Hierarchal Liturgy with the concelebration of Their Graces Bishops Ilarion of Timok and Arsenije of Nis, in the Cathedral church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles in Nis, on April 24, 2021, on Lazarus' Saturday. 

Among concelebrants also were: protopresbyter-staurophor Milutin Timotijevic, head of the Theological Seminary "Saints Cyril and Methodius" in Nis, ; protopresbyter-staurophor Branislav Cincarevic, head of the Cathedral in Nis; protopresbyter-staurophor Nanad Mikic; hieromonk Sava (Bundalo); archpriest Miodrag Pavlovic, Diocesan Deputy of Nis I; archpriest Zlatko Vasilic, Diocesan Deputy of Nis II; protosynchellos Nektarije (Djuric) and deacons Radomir Vrucinic, Vuk Jovanovic and Djordje Filipovic.

The Patriarch opens the Museum of the Church Antiquities of the Diocese of Nis

His Holiness Porfirije, Serbian Patriarch, ceremoniously opened a newly formed Museum of Church Antiquities of the Diocese of Nis in the presence of His Grace Bishop Arsenije of Nis, and distinguished guests, during his first official visit to the Diocese of Nis, on April 23, 2021.

On behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, which financially supported the establishment of the Museum, Dr. Dejan Maslikovic attended the opening ceremony.
