Middle East Orthodox Primates to meet again in Nicosia

The four Primates of the Autocephalous Orthodox Churches in the Middle East will meet a second time in Nicosia in the near future in an effort to find a solution for the ecclesial issue of Ukraine.

The Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Alexandria addressed for the first time the issue of granting autocephaly to Ukraine in an interview with the Greek newspaper Ethnos.

Monastic Life revived in Romanian village after 200 years

After 200 years, the monastic life has been revived in Redea, a village in the southcentral Romania commune of Buzoieşti, 70 miles west of Bucharest, where previously a monastery had functioned since the time of Prince Michael the Brave (1558-1601).
