Slava of Saints Cyril and Methodius Seminary in Prizren
29. May 2019 - 12:34In Prizren, on 24 May 2019, the patronal feast of the Seminary of Saints Cyril and Methodius was solemnly observed. His Grace Bishop Maxim of Western America, celebrated Hierarchal Divine Liturgy, while local Bishop Teodosije of Raska-Prizren and some fifteen priests concelebrated.
The Serbian Patriarch in the Hungarian Parliament
28. May 2019 - 13:02The Serbian Patriarch Irinej payed a visitto the Parliament of Hungary on May 26, 2019.
His Holiness was met by State Secretary Sholtes Miklosh, who exposed to the Church dignitaries a brief history of the magnificent building as well as history of the Hungarian people in general. The reception was attended by Bishops: Lukian of Buda (Hungary), Kiril of South America, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia Ivan Todorov, a Serbian representative in the Parliament Ljubomir Aleksov.
Triumphant Patriarchal Liturgy in Szentendre
28. May 2019 - 12:36His Holiness Patriarch Irinej celebrated Divine Liturgy in the Szentendre Cathedral on May 26, 2019, on the Sunday of the Samaritan Woman.
The Primate of the Serbian Church was concelebrated by Bishops: Lukijan of Buda (Hungary), Kiril of Buenos Aires and South America and Vicar Bishop Isihije of Mohacs with a number of clergy. The Holy Liturgy was attended by the Vice-President of the Government of Hungary Dr. Zsolt Semjén and the State Secretary Miklós Soltész.
Patriarch visited the Serbian school in Budapest
28. May 2019 - 12:06His Holiness Irinej, Serbian Patriarch, visited the Serbian Primary and the High school “Nikola Tesla” in Budapest on 27 May 2019.
His Holiness was greeted by pupils, teachers, professors and the principal of the school, Professor Dr. Jovanka Lastic, who made the Patriarch known with the circumstances in which the school functions and its curriculum. The Patriarch talked to pupils about the significance of education and preservation of the Serbian identity.
“Serbian Patriarch Pavle” Center opened in Brcko
27. May 2019 - 17:05The Cultural and Administrative Center “Serbian Patriarch Pavle” was solemnly consecrated and opened.
His Grace Vicar Bishop Stefan of Remesiana, envoy of His Holiness Serbian Patriarch, Bishops Fotije of Tuzla and Heruvim of Osek-Polje, President of the Republic of Srpska Mrs. Zeljka Cvijanovic, ministers in the Government of the Republic of Srpska, and other cultural, religious and political dignitaries attended the event along with the faithful people.
New Museum of the Diocese of Buda opened in Szentendre

While paying an official archpastoral visitation to the Diocese of Buda and its residence city Szentendre, the Serbian Patriarch Irinej visited first the Serbian Cathedral church knows also as the Belgrade church.
