The Divine Liturgy was celebrated by Bishops Atanasije and Grigorije. - Dinner with the Mufti of Mostar and representatives of the Islamic community in Mostar and with a Franciscan monk.

The patron feast-day of the Cathedral church of the Diocese of Zaholm and Herzegovina in Mostar was in fact the celebration of all the faitful from the church community in Mostar and of all the members of the Diocese of Zaholm and Herzegovina, as well as of all the Christians all over the world.

On Whit Monday, June 5, 2017, on the occasion of the church patron feast-day - the Desecent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles -  His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej presided over the Divine Liturgy in the Russian church of the Holy Trinity in Belgrade.

The dean of this church, Protopresbyter Vitaly Tarasjev, head of the Podvorye of the Moscow Patriarchate, as well as  Protopresbyter Valery Mihejev from Munich concelebrated. Next to a great number of Rusian and Serbian faitful from Belgrade and surrounding  towns, the Divine service was followed by a  group of Russian pilgrims from Munich, Germany, who had arrived with their parish priest Fr. Valery to make an one-week pilgrimage to some Serbian monasteries.

Hierarchs, clergy, monks, nuns and faithful of the Serbian Orthodox Church, family, friends and many admirers of Bishop Lucian gathered in the Dalj Cathedral of St. Demetrius united in the prayer for the  repose of the soul of the late Bishop, who for the last 26 years wisely  and lovingly headed the God-saved Diocese of Osijek-Polje and Baranja.

The Holy Requiem Liturgy was presided over by Bishop Basil of Srem, with the concelebration of His Grace Bishop Irinej of Backa - administrator of this vacant Diocese,  as well as by Their Graces  Bishops:Jovan of Sumadia, Atanasije of Bihac-Petrovac, David of Krusevac and Sergije of Middle Europe.

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej presented the Ambassador of Belarus in Belgrade Vladimir Chushev Order of St. Sava second degree at a reception held at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 31 May 2017.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Holy Synod of Bishops: His Eminence Metropolitan Porfirije of Zagreb and Ljubljana, and Their Graces Bishops: Justin of Zicha, Fotije of Dalmatia and Milutin of Valjevo as well as by the Bishop electus Nikodim of Dalmatia. The  decision of the Holy Synod of Bishops, which was read during the ceremony by the General Secretary of the Holy  Synod Archpriest-Stavrophor Dr. Savo Jovic, pointed put that the high award of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Order of St. Sava,was being handed in to His Excellency Vladimir Nikolayevich Chushev, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus in Belgrade, for his active love towards the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Serbian people, demonstrated in particular in his wholehearted commitment to the strengthening of relations between Serbia and Belarus.

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received the 6th class students of the High Security and Defense Studies at the National Defense School of the Military Academy; the meeting took place at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 1 June 2017.

Students of high security and defense studies expressed their gratitude to the Head of  the Serbian Orthodox Church for the cordial reception during which they considered various challenges facing the southern Serbian province of Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the cooperation of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the Army of Serbia.

Patriarch received members of the Executive Committee of CEC

His Holiness Serbian Patriarch Irinej received members of the Executive Committee of the Conference of European Churches, at the Serbian Patriarchate in Belgrade on 1 June 2017.

The high representatives of the Conference of European Churches expressed their gratitude to the Primate of the Serbian Orthodox Church for the cordial reception during which they discussed various issues that are to be deliberated upon at the meeting of this international body, which is being held in Belgrade from 31 May to 3 June 2017. The Patriarch Irinej thanked the distinguished guests for the visit and wished them all the best from the Lord in their highly responsible work. The reception was attended by His Eminence Metropolitan Dr. Porfirije of Zagreb and Ljubljana as a member of the Holy Synod of Bishops, and the General secretary of the Office of the  Serbian Patriarch, Deacon Dr. Aleksandar Prascevic.
